Each coaster will be slightly different in size, shape and color. All will be slightly concave due to their previous job as a bourbon barrel. The backs are all charred showing their authenticity. We have cleaned and sealed all sides with three coats of polyurethane.

The history of distilling is long and colorful. What hasn't changed throughout the years is the use of white oak barrels. Currently our supply of white oak is stable, but that can change as consumption increases. In 2020 more than 1.8 million barrels were filled with bourbon. By law, these barrels can only be used one time. Fortunately, there are other industries that reuse these barrels, such as tequila, whiskey, and beer makers. We obtain our barrels straight from kentucky. Most of our barrel are single use. We source the oldest ones we can find because we can't get enough of the patina only time can create as well as the hint of bourbon each barrel piece carries with it.
